The competences module allows you to manage both competences and CVs of all the company's employees efficiently.

Configure competences in categories and define levels

Create a long list of the relevant competences within your company and categorise these appropriately. You can also define which levels are applicable for each competence.

Other fields like years of practical experience and the last date of practice can be made mandatory.

 

 

 

Update competences automatically or manually

The employee's competences can be updated automatically depending on the trainings the employee finishes within QualityKick's Trainings module.

A manager or the employee itself can also update these manually according to evolving experience and expertise over time.

Find employees based on competences and levels

Finding who is the most appropriate person for the job is not always an easy task. With the competences module you can quickly find which employees are better suited for a specific task by filtering them by skill set and skill level.

Create a detailed CV form and have employees update it themselves

Define all the fields needed to create a complete CV form. Users can then update their CV easily under their profile page. This offloads HR or QA to maintain updated CV documents on file and makes it easy for employees to keep it up to date in no time themselves.

Export or print an employee's CV with the appropriate corporate template

As CVs are stored as digital form fields, QualityKick allows you to create your own CV template, so you can effortlessly print the CV of any employee using the same format, whether it is for sending to a customer or for any other purpose.

Can we import our current list of competences?

We actually do that for you. During the QualityKick Onboarding Process we import all the data you need to import into QualityKick. Once this is done, you can easily keep these up to date through the point&click interface.

Can I export an employee CV in MS Word so I can amend it before sending it?

Yes, that's actually the default.

Which types of fields are supported to create the CV form?

The CV form builder is quite complete. Besides text and numeric input fields you can define date fields, drop downs, file upload fields, checkboxes and radio buttons, range input fields, etc.

You can even create form blocks that can be duplicated by the user. For example to provide their professional experience you can create a form block with a few fields which the user can simply duplicate as often as needed by clicking on a plus button.

Can I search for employees using multiple competences and levels in the search?

Yes, in the Users list page you'll have an Advanced Search available where you can search on many parameters like competences and levels, but also CV items or user detail fields.

Can I define my own levels of competences or are these fixed in the system?

Absolutely, you can even have different levels for different competences.

Can the competences be shown in the CV export file as well?

Absolutely, that's certainly possible.
